We have a CMS 2000 inverter, and thanks to Jinba's script posted on one of the solar forums, I've modified it to log the output.

I've recently bought a SheevaPlug low power computer and a Realtek RTL8188SU Wireless N USB adapter.
The SheevaPlug is unlike regular PCs based on the i386, it is actually an ARM platform. With Ubuntu no longer supporting ARM platforms, I've decided to try to use Debian. After installing Debian, I soon realised that the Realtek isn't supported.
In Ubuntu 9.10, it includes a rotating cosmos background which automatically rotates through a collection of pictures from space. It also includes a number of really nice background. So I thought, wouldn't it be nice to have Ubuntu automatically rotate through all the background images...
Recently, I had to help a missionary in a remote area of Papua New Guinea retrieve data from their failed hard drive. Unfortunately, their backup wasn't so up to date, so they may loose up to a year's worth of culture and language acquisition data.
As you may know, Artifax has released GhostPCL under GPL2 license. GhostPCL allows users to convert a PCL file to PDF or other formats. After searching the web, I couldn't find any executables for it. So decided to build it from source. The version I built was 1.54, the source is available from the Artifax website.

Ubuntu now can play Midi files directly using the media player, and can even preview MIDIs by hovering the mouse over a MIDI file in Nautilus. This is done implemented using wildmidi.
