I've finally decided to start documenting my Ubuntu experiences and
write simple Howtos which hopefully will be of help to many out there
who has braved the new world of Linux.
The Ubuntu guide is a great place to get yourself started. And if you run into any problems, the Ubuntu Forum has lots of good people who are willing to help you out. So do check out these two sites. Apart from these, the Help and Wiki on the official ubuntu site are also good.

Well, I've finally taken the plunge and installed the beta version of Ubuntu Hardy - again just like Fiesty, after installing it I wish I hadn't, there were quite a few problems associated with it... some are solved easily, some still need work... Today, I have finally got my S-video to RCA plug to work so I can watch movie from the computer on my television. I have a HP Pavilion dv2308tx laptop, running Ubuntu 7.10 Gutsy.
